FC replying to Let of 20 Feb 1987 re fishings at Afforsk Pond, noted there were still leaks elsewhere despite remedial work, thus FC could not guarantee water levels and thus no lease would be issued that summer, but observation of the pond continued

Marnie notes Bailies had voted to spend £500 on drainage of a particular field, says would not benefit FC, so suggests they write asking permission to use field on a particular day per yr, so FC can give them security of tenure for a period of 10yr.

Davidson asks for permission to use such devices to aid the movement of brown trout to the Afforsk Pond which the Bailies now have a fishing licence for, following repair of the dam. He states he is a freshwater biologist & experienced in this area
